This piece was drawn at a time that was really emotionally challenging for me and I was drawn to this beautiful stag. His antlers are damaged but he has an immovable expression that speaks of resilience and victory. It reminds me of this bible passage that at certain times, give me the courage and hope to keep looking up and to keep on my feet, as this too, will soon pass.
